Event Description

The 6th Annual Jayo will be held August 23 at Dockweiler Beach in Manhattan Beach CA
The Jayo Foundation has a two fold mission of encouraging children to lead healthy active lifestyles through the sport of volleyball as well as supporting organizations working to find a cure for the fastest growing disease amongst children - autism.

This year, proceeds raised will be donated to the Foundation for the Advancement of Autistic Persons.

Previously the Jayo has benefited the organization Digs For Kids and Autism Speaks.
Dig for Kids is an organization created by Volleyball Gold medalist Eric Fonoimoana dedicated to encouraging children to seek higher education by tutoring children in the classroom and instructing them in the sport of volleyball.

The Foundation for the Advancement of Autistic Persons (FAAP) and the Eden II/Genesis Programs mission is to provide people with autism specialized community-based programs and other opportunities, with the goal of enabling them to achieve the highest possible quality of living across their life spans.
